How to add WeBex to Outlook
WebEx is an eminent tool that enable users to create virtual meeting for personal and organisational motives. Users can send or view documents, share applications and let others to view items on desktop during a WebEx meeting. This tool can be integrated with Microsoft Outlook making it more versatile. A user can send invitations to other participants, add audio files and record meetings for future use. Installing WebEx to Outlook is quite easy and user friendly.
Following steps tells how to add WeBex to Outlook:
- Open WebEx and go to “Settings”.
- Click on “Edit WebEx Settings” option.
- Click on “Tools” option.
- Check whether “Microsoft Outlook” is selected for “Email and Scheduling” or not.
- Save the changes by clicking on “OK”.
- Close Outlook and then again start it to check whether WebEx has been integrated with Outlook or not. Upon successfully integration, user will see WebEx toolbar on the top of the Toolbar.
- Open File>Options>Add-Ins in the MS Outlook.
- Look for the “Manage” option and click on “Disabled Items”.
- Click on “Add-Ins” option.
- Look for “WebExOIAddin” and click on “Enable” option to make it enabled.
- Open Outlook and go to “Home” tab.
- Click on “Schedule Meeting” option.
- Click on “Add WebEx Meeting” option.
- You have option to create a password, set up audio conferencing, change minutes in which attendees can join before the meeting starts, entry and exit tone, etc. for the meeting.
- Click OK to create the WebEx meeting.
- Fill other details like attendees, subject, date-time etc. and send meeting request to the attendees.
